Palm Island Essentials Support Scheme

We are excited to share the Palm Island Essentials Support Scheme (PIESS) a recently developed, community led cost of living support solution.

Reducing prices across essential items in your trolley from the 1st of August, PIESS funded under CEQ’s Good Pasin’ (Give-back) program, will deliver up to $500,000 worth of subsidies on a selected range of everyday products, with the discount applied on eligible items at the register.

PIESS offers a 20% discount on eligible essential grocery items such as;

fresh milk, bread and fresh fruit & vegetables. 

CEQ working collectively with the Palm Island Council delivering this Scheme together supporting our local families.

The Palm Island Essentials Support Scheme is funded under CEQ’s Good Pasin’ (Give-back) program, delivering up to $500,000 worth of subsidies on a selected range of everyday products. The discount applied through PIESS will be applied to all *eligible products purchased from the 1st August 2025 onwards.
