CEQ provides essential goods and services that support communities to be healthier and more sustainable.

In response to our vision of ‘Caring, every day, always’, CEQ have a new focus on Nutrition & Health. CEQ want to be a part of supporting communities in the Torres Strait, Cape York, the lower Gulf and on Palm Island to meet their aspirations for a healthy future.

We have developed a Nutrition & Health Strategy to be rolled out over 4 years, between 2023-2027.

This strategy has been developed in line with remote retail industry standards and national and international best practice to improve food security and create healthy stores. It summarises our commitment to ensure access to healthy food choices for the communities we serve and our team members remains at the forefront of what we do.

We are currently in first stage of actioning this strategy in our supermarkets. We aim to strengthen and expand these actions in partnership with the communities we serve in order to fully deliver on our health promises.
